Daryl Foriest, Director, Food Distribution Food Bank For New York City

Daryl ForiestDaryl Foriest is the devoted leader of the Food Bank Community Kitchen and Food Pantry in Harlem, acting as its Director of Food Distribution. Before coming to Food Bank, he had over twenty years of experience in food service management, acting as Food and Beverage Director and Executive Steward at four-star hotels such as the Four Seasons and the Plaza. Preceding his career in food service management, Daryl played professional basketball overseas and was educated at both Rutgers University and Lehman College. He is passionate about giving back to the community and keeping at-risk kids off the street, which he demonstrates by coaching youth basketball in his free time.

David McCoy, Manager, Innovation and Integration Food Bank For New York City

David McCoyDavid McCoy is currently the Manager of Integration and Innovation at the Food Bank For New York City where he is responsible for program development and capacity building. Before joining the Food Bank, David consulted for Africa based BRIDGE, Inc. on rural development initiatives. David has published work on African conflict and social redevelopment. He holds an Bachelor of Science in Political Science from University Wisconsin Oshkosh and a Masters of Arts from the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University.

Lisa Richardson, Assistant Manager, Toyota Production System Support Center, Inc. (TSSC)

Lisa RichardsonLisa, a 20 year Toyota team member, is a kaizen leader for the Toyota Production System Support Center (TSSC). TSSC, a not-for-profit affiliated with Toyota, shares Toyota’s production system know-how (also known as TPS) with a broad range of organizations that have a true desire to learn and adopt Toyota’s philosophy to help improve their operations. Prior to joining Toyota, Lisa spent nine years working for a large architecture firm responsible for marketing and business development. Lisa has a BA in Public Relations and is pursuing an MA in Human Resource Development.

Mary Catherine Brouder, Social Journalist

Mary Catherine BrouderMary Catherine Brouder is a writer by nature and journalist by vocation. Her passion is for covering human rights issues, which led her to release her first independent documentary film in 2012 about a missionary priest who was killed in Kenya. Mary Catherine has covered news for CNN, CBS, IFC, PBS, and more. Mary Catherine has a BA from Harvard in English Literature & Language and an MS in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University School of Journalism.

Migdalia Rivera, Founder / Editor, Latina on a Mission

Migdalia RiveraMigdalia is the founder of Latina on a Mission, a blog dedicated to exploring everything that New York City has to offer and living life to the fullest without going into debt. Her hope is that her mission to financial security and empowerment will inspire others to have what she describes as a "Latinlicious" life. Migdalia has two sons - Karly, 17 and Andrew, 10 - and lives in Hell's Kitchen.

Patrick Curtin, Coordinator, Tiered Engagement Network Food Bank For New York City

Patrick CurtinAs coordinator of the Tiered Engagement Network (TEN) Program, Patrick Curtin works to create programming that builds capacity and efficiency at soup kitchens and food pantries. The TEN Program partners Food Bank For New York City's member programs - each playing different roles in providing services - who then work hand in hand to provide a maximum amount of resources to clients in their community. In partnership with Toyota's TSSC team, Patrick has experience assisting TEN's soup kitchens and pantries to improve the efficiency of food packing and distribution. He was born and raised in Northern Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University.

Sian-Pierre Regis, Founder, Swagger New York

Sian-Pierre RegisSian Pierre is the founder + editor-in-chief of Swagger New York. Established first in Paris (Swagger Paris), Swagger has grown from a being a well-known street style site to an arbiter of cool and creating daily content that highlights the best in music, fashion, style and culture. SP also contributes to MTV Act where he interviews celebrities about what's important to them and why it's important to do good. SP is committed to inspiring others to drive on passion.
