Swagger New York is Teaming Up With Toyota
In the months after Superstorm Sandy, we chipped in to help those affected by gutting houses, passing out food, and donating clothes. But we wanted to do more. And so our editor Sian-Pierre has teamed up with Toyota to help improve food distribution centers affected by the storm, making them more efficient and fit to serve more families in less time. The program is called Meals Per Hour.
Over the next few months, follow Sian-Pierre both here and via his social channels as he travels to Far Rockaway and Coney Island to help Toyota make Meals Per Hour a success. Tweet in support, send questions his way, and spread the word that the affects of Sandy are still very real, that it’s up to us – yes, young people – to make lasting change. After all, clothes can make you look cool, but it’s what you do in them that gives you swagger.
